- This standard applies to silica bricks. The content of alumina (Al2O3) is less than 1.50%, the content of titanium oxide (TiO2) is less than 0.20%, the content of iron oxide (Fe2O3) is less than 1.5%, the content of calcium oxide (CaO) is less than 2.5%, the average modulus of failure is not less than 3.4 Mpa ( 500psi)
