- This standard is applicable to the acceptance inspection procedure used to determine the acceptance or rejection of a certain batch of completed parts when the buyer orders completed parts and has no other contract with the seller for acceptance inspection. Additional requirements for acceptance may be included in a specific product standard (e.g., standard for pre-torqued nuts). The same procedure may also apply when a dispute arises about conformity with specifications
