Scope

This standard applies to the materials, shapes, dimensions and ultrasonic testing and verification methods of type A3 standard gauge blocks for ultrasonic oblique beam testing. The gauge block is marked (STB-A3). Its main purpose is to determine the incident point and refraction angle of the oblique beam transducer, and to set the detection range and detection sensitivity.
