- This standard applies to control cables (hereinafter referred to as cables) used in low-voltage control circuits below 600V. The insulation is mainly composed of vinyl-chloride resin (vinyl-chloride resin), hereinafter referred to as "polyvinyl chloride", polyethylene or cross-linked polyethylene.
