Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring plasticizer migration, which is mainly used to determine (1) the tendency of plasticized plastic products in sheet or film form to lose plasticizer when in contact with substances that absorb plasticizer. (2) The migration tendency of a plasticizer contained in a resin or a series of resins at one or more concentrations.
