Scope
This standard specifies the determination of the bromine value of petroleum distillates and industrial aliphatic alkenes (1). 1.1 This determination method is applicable to petroleum distillates whose distillation endpoint is below 327°C, with 90% distillation volume, and which essentially contain substances lighter than isobutane, such as gasoline (including leaded gasoline), kerosene, etc. And when it does not contain admixtures (alcohols, ketones, ethers or amines, etc.), it is the distillate within the scope of gas oil distillation
