- This standard applies to electromagnetic radiation in the frequency range of 10 MHz to 100 GHz and its possible harmful effects on the human body. The sources of this electromagnetic radiation include radio stations, radar equipment and other possible sources, such as electromagnetic radiation from communications, navigation communications, industry and science, but do not include electromagnetic radiation treatment by medical practitioners on patients.
