- This standard specifies the titration method to determine the content of maleic anhydride for industrial use. This method must first refer to CNS 6210 Industrial Maleic Anhydride Test Method (General Principles). Note: 1. Maleic anhydride is toxic, so try to avoid touching the skin or inhaling it during operation. 2. If heated together with trace amounts of caustic substances, other alkalis, alkaline substances and organic bases, dangerous decomposition will occur.
