Scope

This method applies gas chromatography to determine the purity of ethyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate, and 2-ethyl (generation) hexyl acrylate. Certain impurities such as ethanol and other esters can also be determined. As for other impurities (such as water and acid), they are measured by other appropriate methods, and the results can be used for calibration purposes.
