Scope

This standard applies to the properties of lubricants impregnated with compounds for hoisting wire ropes in mines, and the verification methods for these properties, especially with regard to the following properties. (1) Treat the inner hemp rope, the outer hemp rope and the impregnating compound embedded in the steel core hemp rope. (2) Lubricant used in manufacturing. (3) Surface treatments.
