Scope
This standard applies to centrifugal partial fans (hereinafter referred to as fans) with a rated output of less than 50kw and a 4-pole, 3-phase induction motor directly connected with a flexible coupling or an impeller installed on the motor shaft end. Note that it is intended to be used for local ventilation in coal mines.
