- Scope
- This standard applies to edible palm oil produced from the pulp part of palm fruit. After refining, the part with a high melting point is distinguished. This standard applies to soft palm oil that is suitable for consumption and has an iodine value of less than 50, with (or without the addition of) solvent added to oil collected from palm pulp, first cooled, and then processed by dripping, filtration or centrifugal separation.
