- 1.1 This standard specifies the appearance, shape and allowable limits and dimensions, quality and allowable differences of rolled flat steel (hereinafter referred to as flat steel). 1.2 The applicable scope of this standard and the levels of allowable differences specified are subject to the provisions of individual standards for steel materials or the agreement between the buyer and the seller. Unless otherwise specified, Level B in Table 2 shall apply.
