Scope

This standard specifies the determination of methanol content in paint strippers, fuels, liquid sanders, antifreeze and paint products. It is also suitable for the determination of products containing acetone, butyl acetate, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, n-hexane, butanone, dichloroethane, methylcellulose, paraffin, toluene and water.
