- This standard is applicable to the abrasion test of flooring materials by friction and impact of a rotating disk abrasion testing machine (refer to the attached figure). However, it does not apply to materials that may cause great damage when struck by friction with the friction steel brush or hammer nails shown in Figures 4 and 5, and similar materials.
