- This standard applies to hexagonal steel wire mesh (hereinafter referred to as steel wire mesh) made of polyvinyl chloride coated steel wire, galvanized low carbon steel wire and stainless steel wire. However, galvanized low carbon steel wire mesh does not include galvanizing after weaving the mesh.
