Scope
This standard stipulates the relevant operating performance inspection methods for bed-type horizontal milling machines with a movement amount of the bed in the X-axis direction of less than 4000 mm. Note: The names of the mechanical axes used in this standard are as follows: Z axis is the direction parallel to the main axis, X axis is the horizontal direction in the plane perpendicular to the Z axis, Y axis is the direction perpendicular to the Z axis and X axis (refer to CNS 5286 values Code for controlling machine tool coordinate axes and motion).
