Scope

This standard stipulates the performance requirements for commonly used brakes of a coupling vehicle consisting of a truck tractor and a trailer under normal operation. However, this standard does not apply to vehicles where the total weight of the pole-type vehicle and the vehicle after connection exceeds 40 tons.
