- This standard is applicable to improving the corrosion resistance of steel products (1) by hot-dip galvanizing on the effective surface (2). Note (1) does not apply to continuous galvanized steel sheets and galvanized steel wires. (2) The effective surface is an important surface or in accordance with the provisions of Section 4 of CNS 7796 [Electroplating Engineering Drawing Representation].
