- This standard applies to the definition and specification of protection and shielding equipment installed to protect personnel from mechanical, thermal, chemical, electrical and other accidental injuries during the operation and maintenance of geotechnical machinery. Remarks 1: This standard also applies to field geotechnical machinery of various sizes using rubber tires and crawling tracks. 2: This standard does not include ROPS (Rollover Protective Frame), FOPS (Falling Object Protective Frame) and operating cabin.
