Scope

This standard applies to test methods for vulcanized rubber products (hereinafter referred to as anti-vibration rubber) generally used for the purpose of preventing or buffering the transmission of vibration and impact, but does not apply to hard rubber (ebonite), foam rubber (Foam Rubber), and Rubber reinforced with cloth or string.
