Scope

This standard specifies the method of using a roller-driven brake testing machine (hereinafter referred to as the testing machine) to conduct actual vehicle testing on commonly used automobile braking platforms. However, it does not apply to specific vehicles, specially equipped vehicles and two-wheeled motorcycles. Note: This common brake is tested at speeds below 2 km/h.
