This document proposes insulation specifications for low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) for closed refrigeration compressors, and stipulates the technical requirements, inspection rules, diagnostic tests, etc. for single materials and insulation systems. This document applies to the insulation system of motors with rated voltages of 1140V and below. This document does not apply to motor insulation systems using ammonia as refrigerant.
