Scope
This standard specifies the magnetic particle inspection timing, inspection equipment, inspection materials, inspection technology, display evaluation, defect type and grade classification for subsurface defects on the surface of ferromagnetic material welding areas. The inspection of ferromagnetic material weld beads for special purposes may be separately determined in accordance with relevant standards, but shall not be lower than this standard.
