Scope

This standard specifies test methods for the copper value of pulp, paper and paperboard after bleaching or purification. Note: This method is not applicable to materials containing calcium sulfite, zinc sulfide, melamine resin or non-fibrous substances that can reduce copper. However, it can be applied if the amount of additives and reducing power in the paper are known.
