Scope
This standard specifies a method for extracting lead and cadmium contained in enamel (enamel) surfaces using 4% acetic acid solution and measuring their contents using an atomic absorption spectrometer. Note 1: In the past, the test of lead and cadmium dissolution from enamel (enamel) surfaces was limited to cooking enamelware and related food utensils.
