Scope

This standard applies to the application of cement mortar inside steel pipes (1) (hereinafter referred to as pipes) specified in CNS 6568 [Coated steel pipes for tap water] and CNS 6666 [Fittings of coated steel pipes for tap water] in order to prevent steel pipes for tap water from rusting. Lining (hereinafter referred to as lining). Note (1) Before the pipe is lined, its inner surface shall not be coated.
