Scope

This standard applies to eddy current testing of seamless, welded and forged carbon steel pipes with pipe wall thickness between 1 and 20mm and outer diameter between 10 and 180mm, including testing timing, testing equipment, display evaluation and grade classification. Inspections for special purposes and shapes may be separately determined in accordance with other relevant standards, but shall not be lower than this standard.
