- This standard is applicable to CNS 12476 [Guidelines for proportional standard numbers]. The selection of relevant series and larger trimming values is supplemented by the following three ranges. (1) There are only two series for use, the trimming value is larger or smaller. (2) When adopting a more trimmed trimming value, its consequences should be taken into consideration. (3) Rules can be specified to avoid choosing between geometric standard numbers and trimmed geometric standard series.
