- This standard applies to Dumet wire (1) (hereinafter referred to as wire) used in soft glass enclosures of electronic tubes, light bulbs, discharge lamps, semiconductor products, etc. Note (1): The wire is a composite wire with iron and nickel alloy as the core wire, and then the surface is covered with copper, and finally the surface is oxidized or borated. Note: The units and values within {} in this standard are in the International System of Units (SI).
