Scope

This standard stipulates the eddy current wave testing of seamless or welded copper and copper alloy pipes with a pipe wall thickness below 3.5mm and a pipe outer thickness below 64mm, including testing timing, testing equipment, display evaluation and acceptance. Inspections for special uses and shapes may be determined in accordance with other relevant standards, but shall not be lower than this standard.
