Scope
This standard is one of the effective methods for measuring particle size distribution. It specifies the method for measuring the particle size distribution of alumina or quartz powder (0.6 to 56.0 μm) using an inductive belt particle size analyzer. The instrument uses a tiny current path to adjust the size of the current by passing a single particle through a gap. The current pulse wave is proportional to the volume of the particle. Notes: (1) The numerical values and units in this standard are in international units.
