Scope

This standard stipulates the methods for conducting magnetic particle flaw detection tests (hereinafter referred to as tests) on iron and steel materials and their finished products (hereinafter referred to as test products) and the grade classification of defective magnetic particle (pattern) patterns. However, the applicable scope of grade classification is the final processing surface of the finished product.
