- This standard is applicable to radiographic inspection of full-penetration welds on steel structure butt joints, including steel structures that bear static force or dynamic stress. This standard specifies the minimum requirements for radiographic testing timing, testing procedures, testing technology, display evaluation, defect types, acceptance criteria, etc. When used for special weld bead inspection, it may be determined in accordance with other relevant standards, but shall not be lower than this standard.
