Scope

This standard is a guideline for corrosion test methods. Such corrosion testing includes testing of protective metals, and other inorganic coatings, in heated or unheated storage rooms and in local environments with climate-controlled factors. Specimens and objects may be tested in part or in whole, with or without outer protective packaging.
