- This standard specifies the inductively coupled plasma (hereinafter referred to as ICP) generation spectrum analysis method for steel containing more than 92% iron. Its applicable analytical components and quantitative range are shown in Table 1. However, if a certain ingredient exceeds the upper limit listed in Table 1, it does not apply. In addition, steel containing ingredients not listed in Table 1, with a content exceeding 1.0% (but tungsten is above 0.1%), is not applicable.
