Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the water permeability of geotextile fabrics through the forward water permeability test. 1.1 This method provides a test method for determining the water permeability of geotextile fabrics in the uncompressed state under standard test conditions by means of forward water permeability, which is different from the test method of permeability coefficient. 1.2 Water permeability is an indicator of how much water can flow through the geotextile under isolation conditions.
