- This standard applies to carbon steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes and nickel-chromium iron alloy pipes (hereinafter referred to as steel pipes) used for heating process fluids in heating furnaces mainly used in the petroleum refining industry, petrochemical industry, etc. Remarks: 1. In addition to the inspection items of this standard, if the buyer and the seller agree in advance, they may specify some or all of the special quality requirements Z2, Z3, Z4 and Z6 in the inspection appendix.
