- This standard specifies the protocol for FTAM to use free network services. This service is defined in CNS 13282-1 [Information processing system – Network service definition: free transmission]. This protocol relies on the hands-free service provided by the underlying real subnetwork or data link. This protocol assumes that the underlying hands-free services can be obtained directly from the hands-free real sub-network or from the pre-wired real sub-network through the sub-network.
