Scope

This standard applies to AC 600 V power, control, alarm, monitoring and communication lines for fire protection systems, using polyethylene (PE for short) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE for short) as insulators, polyvinyl chloride (PVC for short) or polyethylene Vinyl-coated fire-resistant cable (hereinafter referred to as the cable).
