Scope

This standard specifies the following matters for scrap copper and copper chips used in copper smelting. (1) Sample collection method - sample samples with the same content and moisture average (hereinafter referred to as the average grade) from each batch. (2) Measurement pattern preparation method - the above-mentioned sample is crushed or re-melted and divided to prepare a measurement sample. (3) Average grade and dry weight determination method.
