- This standard specifies a general method for testing the residue on the sieve and particle size distribution of granular or powdered chemicals according to the sieving steps. Notes 1.: Chemical products refer to all substances produced by chemical reactions. However, if there are provisions for test methods different from this standard in the standards of individual products or product groups, the methods specified in that standard shall apply. 2.: Chemicals are highly volatile and explosive.
