Scope

This standard specifies the electrochemical properties testing method for sacrificial anode materials used for cathodic corrosion protection, such as zinc-based and aluminum-based sacrificial anodes in seawater. Magnesium anodes and other sacrificial anodes can also be inspected in accordance with this standard.
