- 1. This standard specifies test methods for the stability of geotextiles affected by temperature. 1.1 This standard contains test procedures to determine the effect of temperature on the tensile strength and elongation of geotextile fabrics. 1.2 The stability of this standard to the influence of temperature should be tested under the expected conditions of the burial site on the woven fabrics in the standard state. When reporting, the stability tables of the stabilizing strength and elongation must be used.
