- This standard specifies the testing equipment, calibration methods, scanning methods, and testing timing for manual testing using pulse wave reflection ultrasonic testing for carbon steel and low-alloy steel forgings with a thickness of 20 mm or more or an outer surface and a curvature radius of 50 mm or more. Requirements for testing procedures, display evaluation, grade classification, acceptance criteria, etc. The testing of special-purpose forged steel products shall be determined in accordance with other relevant standards.
