- This standard specifies a method for determining the density or specific gravity of liquid petroleum distillates and viscous oil products with a vapor pressure less than 600mmHg﹙80kPa﹚ and a viscosity less than 15000cSt﹙mm2/s﹚ at a test temperature of 15-35℃. Notes: 1. This test method will not be suitable for samples that are too dark in color because it is impossible to confirm whether there are air bubbles in the sample container. 2.
