- This standard is applicable to laser optical power meters measuring the light wavelength range from 400nm to 1800nm. If a detector is proposed, the sample standard is also applicable. The purpose of this standard is to specify the test sequence and manufacturing standards for optical power meter characteristic evaluation and to define its minimum requirements. Note: For the electrical safety of optical power meters, please refer to the regulations of CNS- (IEC 61010-1).
