- This standard specifies a test method for the apparent viscosity of emulsified asphalt (commonly known as water asphalt) residue and non-Newtonian fluid asphalt using vacuum capillary viscosity control. 1.1 The steps described in this experimental method are mainly designed to determine the apparent viscosity of the distillation residue of emulsified asphalt.
