Scope

ISDN User Paer (ISUP) is a protocol of Signaling System No. 7 that provides basic transport services and signaling functions required to support ISDN voice and non-voice applications and additional services. The ISDN User Agreement also applies to proprietary telephone networks, circuit-switched data networks, analog networks, and mixed analog and digital networks. ISDN User Department is also suitable for domestic applications
