- This standard specifies test procedures for evaluating the acceptability of surface defects specified in CNS 9666 [Nut Surface Defects], but does not include nuts made of free-cutting steel. This standard applies to the following nuts: 1) The strength classification complies with the provisions of Section 4 of CNS 4028 [Mechanical Properties of Nuts (Effective Thread Length is More than 0.4d)]; (2) The nominal thread diameter d is 5mm to 39mm; (3) Products, etc.
